We travel by bus from Dingle to Galway today. Ireland has a unique public transportation system, which requires much planning ahead if you wish to avoid a car rental, which we chose to totally avoid! So this day required connecting three different bus line schedules to get to Galway.

All went as planned and we arrived on schedule to Galway. Who needs cars & tour guides!

Tomorrow we will bus to a nearby sea port and take a ferry over the Atlantic Ocean open waters to the Aran Islands, isle of Inishmore (Largest Island). There is one of the most ancient structures & settlements in Europe there, Dun Aonghasa, estimated to established un 800 BC!
