We arrived in Glasgow to sunny skies, a soft breeze and our warmest weather yet! As one could see from our Ireland pics, it was a bit cool & breezy during our visit there.

We are staying in Glasgow the longest of any place, four days. We rented an Airbnb in the central city for our stay. Its a nice roomy place a short wslk to many restaurants, pubs and the rail stations.

We plan to do much family history dsy trips out of Glasgow. Joan is 40% Scottish, and two of her main Clans are the Hamilton’s and the McMillan’s. The city of Hamilton is a short train ride south and the McMillan Clan estate of Finlaystone is a short train ride west of Glasgow. Then we will take another short ride north to Stirling, home of Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Memorial, to William Wallace of Braveheart fame.
