We hopped a bus from Portrush to Giants Causeway today. It is a short distance to the only UNESCO site in Northern Ireland.

We hiked the trails through around and above the Causeway. It was cool and a bit drizzly at first, but got nicer as the day progressed.

It is a beautiful costal spot to visit, but we must admit we are a bit spoiled living in Oregon, as we have many similar beautiful sites on the Oregon Coast and the Columbia River Gorge. Still we really enjoyed the day hiking and sightseeing this beautiful basalt rock coastline.
